I’m 21 and recently got back into collecting, mostly prompted by nostalgia, I had so many as a child and they were my favourite toys!

I’m 22, I played with some growing up but never had my own. I do have kids who love them but I started buying them when my first turned one. Lol I do use my kids as a excuse but it’s okayxD

25, cf as well! I wanted to have them as a child but they were already very expensive, so now I’m treating myself as an adult!

I’m 42 and have a separate collection from my 4y/o! She also has my old Forest Families from when I was a kid, those little guys are very well loved.

I’m going to be 53 this year. I’ve never had kids. Could care less what anyone else thinks. My husband thinks they are cute.

I’m in my mid-30s. I had probably knockoffs as a kid. I once got a substantial Barnes & Noble gift card (I was a teacher) and I didn’t want to spend it on books, so I was looking around with my toddler and she saw some. Playing with them has helped with her language development and bonded us. My husband even loves them. They’re great! It’s fun to collect them and they have such detailed homes and towns. I get excited whenever we go to a play date and her friends have some. Even though I haven’t met any big CC fans like us yet lol I think they’re a great toy and a great hobby.

I’m in my late 30s now. Have known of them for a long time and liked them, my husband brought me some from Japan and he opened up the flood gate! I’m not child-free, I have a teen son. I did give my nieces who are 24 & 31 their first Calico baby from a blind bag for Christmas.

Late thirties! My mum still collects them and she’s in her 60s, I have a baby daughter and I have put mine in her room on a shelf and height her has reignited my love of them and I hope me, my mum and her can play one day.

I’m 29 and child free! I’ve been collecting for a few years now. I fell in love with how cute, tiny, and detailed they are just admiring them brings me so much joy!

Nearly 22 and really new in this community ! I’ve never paid much attention to Sylvanian families when I was young but now.. they are really appealing to me. Pretty sure it’s because they’re really detailed for child’s toys !

As a 20 year old who has rediscovered these lil guys it’s really cool to see a diverse community of collectors! I totally understand why people older than me like them too.
